new album coming fall 2018
Over the course of 2018, Myself and my many talented musical and artistic friends have goals to record a full-length album called Eternal Hibernation.
Yes, it's a big deal. This album has been a long time coming. Over the past two years, I've been crafting a set of songs that I'm sure you'll love, and now it's time for those songs to be shaped in the recording studio so they can go on discs and vinyl for you to have forever!
While I thought about crowd-sourcing this album initially, I ultimately decided against it. The last thing I want to do is pressure you to give a certain amount so that I can reach a certain monetary goal in a narrow time-frame. Besides, many of you have already given me so much. If you've ever come to a show of mine, bought a CD, shared my music with your friends, or complimented me online or after a show, I cannot thank you enough! Your support does not go unnoticed!
As you may know, recording and releasing an album is not an easy feat. Musicians, recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, graphic designers, and small Mom-and-Pop CD/Vinyl manufacturers all have to put their time and hard work into this album before you can hold the next Ana Lete record in your hands, put it in your CD player/Record player and hear the sweet sweet sounds that envelope your ears, give you goosebumps, send chills down your spine, and fill your soul with emotion and warmth.
That being said, I know there are some of you who want the album out faster than I can deliver through my personal hard work and savings. For you, I have put up a digital tip jar that you can use to donate however much is comfortable for you at the moment. Please know that there is no pressure to donate, but if you would like to pitch in, here's the Paypal Donation button:
If you have donated, thank you so so much! Your contributions however big or small go toward paying all the hard-working, creative people on this project in Boise, the Northwest, and beyond - From the musicians, recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, and graphic designers, to the small companies who still manufacture CDs and Vinyl Records out of the goodness of their hearts!
Thank you again for supporting your local and regional music scene and economy, and for helping me realize my artistic vision.
I can't wait to give you an album you'll love and be proud of!
P.S.: If you'd like to hear Eternal Hibernation before it's released, please join the email list to be invited to an invite-only CD listening party near you in August or September!
